An Okay Supplemental Resource

This book contains 118 pages of auditing content. The remaining pages are test taking tips and strategies.
The auditing topics and content in this book align with the exam syllabus for the CIA exam Part 1. However, the content seems heavily summarized and there isn't a flow from paragraph to paragraph. This makes getting a full picture difficult. The book does a good job mixing up how the data is presented, such as bullet points, paragraphs, lists, and formula explanations. One minor annoyance is that there are spelling and grammatical errors every couple of pages.
The content seems to be there, but I would use this book as a supplemental study guide and not as the only means of preparation for the CIA exam Part 1.

Simple and to the point

I like the simpleness of the book and its explanations… cuts through all the fluff and just gives you the information you need. If you want more details than you can research it from there. I really enjoyed the test hints as well. I’m a terrible test taker and they have helped me with my mock exams to read into the questions and get the answers correctly the first time around. Will be purchasing again for Part II.

This study guide claims to have secrets that will help you with this test. The secrets lie in the information the guide holds. This study guide has all of the information in it that you need to know in order to do well on this test. That’s the secret and it’s a great one to have on your side. Having all of the details you need in one organized location is quite an advantage. You don’t have to wonder if you’re studying the right things or search around for information. You have everything you need and all you have to do is learn it. Do that and you’re set for the test.
