Excellent process heat transfer reference book.

Serth has done an outstanding job putting together this easy to use, cook-book type heat transfer book. Excellent for both the practicing engineer or the student with prior knowledge of introductory heat transfer concepts. The book offers simple, yet elegant solutions couple with detailed explanations to some of the most commonly faced heat exchangers (shell and tube), reboilers (kettle and thermosyphon), condensers and general heat transfer problems encountered in industry. Flawless piece of literature, highly recommended!

Outstanding Book On Heat Exchanger Design

This book is a must if you are looking for design equations on reboilers, condensers, air coolers, and classic single phase shell-and-tube heat exchangers. There are many example problems worked throughout the text and it is very easy to follow and understand. The correlations for the shell side and tube side film coefficients are excellent. Very good investment.
