I remember but it is failing. I have strived to erase myself before I go. For as long as I remember Her, She can wait for me. For as long as I am remembered, I will have to wait. Erasure’s secretive narrator leads us across cities, continents and decades, racing to grasp at the weakening threads that link to Her. Steps traced, data hacked, privacy shattered – life and death in the cloud. But what becomes of this digital cosmos of memories, part stolen, once we are gone? What powers does it hold? Love and murder collide in this contemporary story that explores what might happen if the digital records of our lives linked us, not to our past, but to our future. A.T.H. Webber delivers a striking debut novel in which the pervasive powers of the Internet provide a timely backdrop for a story of love and faith in the digital age. ***Prize winner: Montegrappa Writing Prize, Dubai Festival of Literature, March 2016. *** Quarter finalist: ABNA 2014.

One for the digital natives and immigrants
By Tenby Slade
As a speculative fiction thriller, this is a first novel that is well worth a read. What particularly impressed me is that it relies on a central premise which to my reading is genuinely authentic and will most definitely resonate with today's readers, digital natives and immigrants alike.
It takes a couple of chapters for clarity in concept. But by then it is cemented in and it's a rollicking good ride. For those who enjoy Dan Brown and Matthew Reilly, you'll be pleased. And maybe a bit spooked. The characters are likeable and while there is some predictability in the plot path, there are still some clever and original surprises.
I'm really really hopeful that the author will be picked up a by a solid publishing house with a good editor for number two. Some aspects of the writing were rushed and seemed a little self conscious. I would love the author to slow it down and treat the reader to his generosity of thought, and ideas in more detail. More please...

Erasure - Totally intriguing
By Lizzy
Hearing that A.T.H Webber had written his first book, I couldn't wait for my paperback to arrive. It was hard to tell exactly what this was about until you began reading. Once I did, I was hooked! There are so many twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat at times. Everything is so real and believable that I now wonder just how much is known about us and by how many. This is so very different to anything I would normally choose to read which is why I loved it so much. Taking you a journey or intrigue across Europe with 'big brother' watching made excellent reading. Talking about this book I found I kept saying, 'you just have to read it'!

Big brother meets George Orwell1984
By Amazon Customer
An interesting hypothesis of life after death; a murder mystery with equal parts of love and evil, and the way we are all connected to data bases as soon as we use the internet, our mobile phones or GPS. Frightening and thought provoking, but riveting reading.
